PORIRUA CENTRAL LIBRARY The Porirua Central Library is also part of Pataka. The library has a huge wealth of information waiting to be discovered - local history files and photographs, newspapers, magazines and over 140,000 books.  It also provides access to an extensive Maori and Pacific Island book collection, and is the centre for genealogical research in Porirua.
