“A little bit of class” artist workshop with: Joy de Gues
Saturday 20th Oct & Saturday 27th Oct 2012, 10am-3pm
PATAKA Education classroom

Explore rock and roll water colour painting with local artist Joy De Gues!

Joy will show you how to mix the delicate layers of water colour with acrylic and batik painting to create your own series of mixed media masterpieces.

Not for the faint hearted and definitely for people of all abilities and ages.

“I like to explore and show the different hues of light, water and land that we have here in New Zealand, I love how the layers, transparencies and vibrant hues in water colour can really translate that to a viewer.”

Both sessions will be held in the Education suite adjoining the outside courtyard to the gallery, please book and pay through reception on the Pataka ground floor.
